Client: Mackenzie Construction // Agency: Genoa Black // Role: Senior Graphic Designer
Brief: Rebrand Mackenzie Construction, maintaining their existing logo and the blue/orange primary colour palette.
Solution: The Scottish construction company already had an established logo, prominently featured on their vehicles and merchandise. They requested to retain this logo and the blue/orange primary colour palette while refreshing their overall visual identity to appear more modern and bold.
To achieve this, I introduced an enhanced colour palette, incorporating subtle gradients to add depth and sophistication. Bold typography was selected to convey strength and reliability, while impactful imagery highlighted the company’s impressive projects and capabilities. Clean graphics and engaging motion elements were integrated to create a dynamic and contemporary feel.
Additionally, the rebrand extended across all touchpoints, including digital platforms, print materials, and on-site signage, ensuring a cohesive and professional appearance. The updated visual identity not only modernised the brand but also reinforced Mackenzie Construction’s reputation as a leader in the industry.
